The University of Texas women’s basketball team has just received a new head coach.
Karen Aston has been hired to serve as the Longhorn’s coach for the next five seasons. Aston was the former eight-year assistant coach underneath Jody Conradt, and has years of experience recruiting and coaching female basketball players. She is eager to work with the Texas Longhorns, and looks forward to the commitment and pride that is associated with the university.
Her position as head coach began immediately, and will continue until August 31, 2017. This new hire comes after former women’s basketball coach, Gail Goestenkors resigned on March 19.
The Austin carpet cleaning specialists of WOW Total Cleaning would like to wish the UT women’s basketball team luck as they prepare for the next season.
